Welcome to the Missouri Falconry Newsletter December 2003. Here we are it is almost Christmas, it seems like we just had our summer picnic. We have a really great newsletter for you , so dont skip any parts be sure to have a look at everything. I am really happy with the response I got on the call for articles. I hope this is a sign for the up coming year that more people are going to become involved and send us some of their great experiences or even just a short letter on a hunt of theirs that surprised them or they learned something they want to share. Its all-exciting, its FALCONRY at its best right here in our own state of Missouri. Many Thanks of great appreciation to all those who responded with articles.
I would like to mention how good it was to see so many new faces at the meet in October. We acquired several new members to our club. Some, of who you will hear from in this newsletter. I would like to send out a warm welcome to all of you who have just joined us.
It is my new duty to report whats happening with our money. So following will be my report as to what has happened since the Eyas Picnic in August 2003.
Those of you, who have not paid dues in 2003, can send a check to me to update their membership. Write check to Norma Haynes, and send to 2401 NW 53rd Terrace, Kansas City, MO. 64515. Please include your current address, telephone and e-mail. Thanks
Here I have to remind people of how important our raffle is at increasing our funds for our group. We have many vendors listed at the end of our newsletter and I strongly encourage falconers to buy products from them they need to purchase, for they strongly support our club.
